Skylight Waterproofing with Simple Seal Silicone Membrane Strips
QRC Projects was contracted by Buildcorp Construction Company during the upgrade process of the Toombul Shopping Centre to assess and recommend the neccessary repairs to the leaking skylights.
QRC Projects accepted the challenge and found a product that would manage to adhere to glass and aluminium as well as provide a 20 year warranty on the waterproofing of the skylights. Finding a product was only half of the challange and in conjuction with our scaffolding suppliers we needed to come up with a canterlever design on the scaffolding in order to reach along the upper sections without applying weight on the glass structure The job was completed with a 100% success and no fuirther leaks was detected |
Polyurethane Non Exposed Waterproofing Membrane to the new Toombul Shopping Centre

QRC Projects was approached by one of our suppliers to perform the waterproofing application of a dual layer torch applied membrane to the roof structure of the new Bank Of South Pacific in Lae in Papua New Guinea Works had to take place in high humidity and regular rain fall so tarps had to be erected over the roof to enable us to continue works in spite of the unfavourable weather conditions Works were completed in less time than expected with a 100% success |
Concrete repairs to slab edges - New Farm Brisbane
Minc Services employed QRC Projects to perform concrete repairs to the concrete slab edged and painting of all ceilings to a high rise building in New Farm Approximately 200 individual repairs were conducted on the slab edges from a wrap around swingstage. Wind and keeping the swingstage stable was challenging during this process. |
