Skylight Waterproofing with Simple Seal Silicone Membrane Strips
QRC Projects was contacted by Buildcorp Construction Company during the upgrade process of the Toombul Shopping Centre to assess and recommend the neccessary repairs to the leaking skylights.
QRC Projects accepted the challenge and found a product that would manage to adhere to glass and aluminium as well as provide a 20 year warranty on the waterproofing of the skylights.
Finding a product was only half of the challange and in conjuction with our scaffolding suppliers we needed to come up with a canterlever design on the scaffolding in order to reach along the upper sections without applying weight on the glass structure
The job was completed with a 100% success and no fuirther leaks was detected
Polyurethane Non Exposed Waterproofing Membrane to the new Toombul Shopping Centre

Waterproofing of retaining walls at the new Ripley Providence Queensland Schools Project
Watpac Constructions contracted QRC Projects for the waterproofing of all retaining walls on the new Riply Providence Schools project
Time is always of the essence on large scaled projects such as this and QRC Projects proposed a product that could be applied on green concrete meaning the waterproofing could be applied as early as 24 hours after concrete has been poured as apose to 7 days
All walls and footings were waterproofed with a rapid curing elastomeric polyurethane waterproof coating at approximately 1mm dft.
